Field Trips

We are active in field trips throughout the year. We take trips as a club and also as members of the Washington State Mineral Council in conjunction with other clubs. Usually the trips are day trips.

East KingCo Club Field Trips

• Due to insurance liability, most of our club-sponsored trips are for club members only. They are presented to the membership through the newsletter and email list.

• Upcoming trips... 

July 26 2025 - Garnet hunting field trip at Lake Creek near Lake Wenatchee - we'll hike about a mile from the trailhead and sift through the river gravels to find pea sized garnets.
